Alex Aalto, Senior Internet Programmer

It all started when Alex was a child. Who would have guessed that all those long hours spent shut inside programming his Commodore 64 would have given him such technical prowess and geek chic later in life. His love of technology fully blossomed when getting his Comp. Sci. degree at St. Francis Xavier University.

After moving from Canada's infamous east coast, Alex has gone on to work with award winning internet companies like Columbus Group Communications, and TELUS. He has been both sole creator and team member involved in the inception of so many web sites. To list all the parts of the internet Alex has touched is difficult - here are but a few websites: Tourism Vancouver, BC Hydro, BC Sports Hall of Fame, Calgary Flames, Vancouver Port Authority sites, Blue Cross-Blue Shield New Jersey, Snapple, TELUS, TELUS Mobility, MTS, Mountain Equipment Coop, Inside Edge, Westcoast Energy, Colliers International, BC Pavco, Diner's Club, Orca Bay, Canucks, Citizen's Bank, Fluevog, Kraft Dinner and The Skatomatics.

Over the past seven years Alex has accrued an impressive amount of knowledge in the ways of Perl, Java, and Javascript. And as for acronyms like PHP, JSP, ASP, SQL, CSS, HTML, XHTML, XSLT; not only does he know what they mean, but he has used them all. He is currently focused on devising reusable architectures, innovating a wireless world of simplicity, and making technology good.
